Beginner training plan

Your first lessonFoundations: Focus on warm-up routines, proper throwing mechanics, grip, balance, and accuracy.

Lesson 11+Advanced Pitching: Refine windup and stretch, expand pitch arsenal (age-appropriate), sharpen command with quadrant targets, simulate game situations, and work on pitch sequencing and strategy. Strength, conditioning, and recovery habits are fully integrated.

Lesson 4-10Skill Building: Refine mechanics, develop command, introduce a changeup, practice stride direction and accuracy, and begin learning pickoff moves. Pitch counts are carefully monitored as athletes build endurance.

Lesson 2-3Mechanics Development: Build consistency in the delivery, introduce key drills for balance and extension, and begin short bullpens.
