About your baseball coach
I have been playing baseball since the age of four, growing up as the son of a former professional baseball player who inspired my passion for the game. Throughout high school, I was a four-year varsity starter and had the opportunity to travel both nationally and internationally to compete at a high level. I am currently continuing my athletic and academic career as a college baseball player at Felician University. This background has taught me discipline, leadership, teamwork, a strong work ethic that I bring to everything I do and I am ready to pass it down to may need my help.

Your first lessonIntroduction, skill assessment, and basic fundamentals (grip, stance, and movement). We’ll set goals and build a foundation.

Youth players
Working with kids1. Keep it simple
Use 1–2 coaching points at a time. Instead of overexplaining mechanics, give cues like “eyes on the ball” or “step and throw.”
2. Make everything a game
Turn drills into competitions (points, races, targets). Kids stay engaged when it feels like play, not practice.
3. Short reps, high energy
Keep drills moving. No long lines. Rotate stations so they’re always active.
4. Positive coaching
Correct mistakes, but lead with encouragement. Confidence is huge at that age—if they feel good, they learn faster.
5. Demonstrate more, talk less
Show them what to do instead of explaining it for 2 minutes. Quick demo → let them try.
6. Build fundamentals naturally
Sneak in skills through fun drills (throwing accuracy games, hitting off tees with targets, etc.).
7. Be patient and flexible
Every kid learns differently. Adjust on the fly based on attention span and skill level.
8. End on a high note
Finish with a fun game or competition so they leave excited to come back.
