Beginner training plan
Your first lesson1. Warm-Up (10 minutes)
• Dynamic stretches: high knees, butt kicks, arm circles, side shuffles.
• Fun movement game: “Red Light, Green Light” while dribbling.
• Teaches ball control + stopping quickly.

2. Ball Handling & Dribbling (15 minutes)
• Stationary Drills (2–3 minutes each):
• Right-hand dribble
• Left-hand dribble
• Crossover (slow and controlled)
• Low dribble (defense position)
• Movement Drills:
• Zig-zag dribbling cones down the court.
• Change speed (walk → jog → sprint while dribbling).

3. Passing Fundamentals (10 minutes)
• Chest Pass (partner drill, step into pass).
• Bounce Pass (aim at halfway point).
• Overhead Pass (for longer distances).
• Game: Passing circle → players try to complete 10 passes without dropping.
