Beginner training plan
Your first lessonDribbling, there's a bunch of different kind of dribbling drills out there. We will start with basic dribbling, right hand down the court and switch to left on the way back. Cone dribbling/zig zag. We will add in a cross over dribble once both hands got it down!
Lesson 11+Integrating fundamentals into game-like situations, emphasizing confidence, decision-making, and basic team concepts like spacing and simple reads, progressing from individual skills
Lesson 4-10Defensive slides and stance and introducing rebounding basics (boxing out) Passing and moving without the ball (cuts to the basketball and filling a spot)
Lesson 2-3Proper shooting form- layups, free throws and basic footwork
