Landon has trained my son for two years. He is patient and very knowledgeable. He never makes him feel incapable or not good enough. He takes time in explaining and walking through harder concepts to ensure he understands. We get lots of compliments of the growth our son has shown since working with Landon. He is a wonderful man who loves God and basketball. One thing we were looking for was someone who was kind in words and actions and we found it in Landon!

Beginner training plan

Your first lessonTypically the first lesson I gauge where the athlete is at overall skill wise. I like to run them through some form shooting, some balance work and then get into some ball handling. This just helps me prepare for the rest of the lessons.

Lesson 11+We just continue to stack days, and keep getting better. Usually we find something that the athlete is elite at, and go over it, and I help round out the rest of their game.

Lesson 4-10Once the athlete has the basics covered we can get a little more advanced. We can move into dribble combos, and attacking our defenders. For shooting we might throw in some shooting with different footworks, maybe shoot off the dribble. However this all depends on how the athlete has progressed so far.

Lesson 2-3These lessons will be our building blocks to training. We will go over what we need to be working on everyday, things like how to move with the basketball, and making sure our mechanics are correct when shooting the ball.
