Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWhat does my player want to accomplish?!What is the timeframe to meet these goals? Evaluation and fundamental movements necessary for the type of player and position of play. Recreational players will address a broad spectrum essentials to leave Lesson 1 with confidence to enjoy 1 on 1 or rec league games. Drills, homework, and training plan discussed.
Lesson 11+Long term learners enjoy meeting physical and mental fitness goals. Lessons should be educational, challenging, encouraging, and perceived by the player as essential.
Lesson 4-10Measure specific progress dependent on training plan prescribed. Make adjustments, intensify focus on problem areas, encourage revisiting basic fundamentals and improving specificity of training program.
Lesson 2-3Implement specific training plan. Evaluate progress of drills and skills.
