First time for beginners or even intermediate we’ll go over the basics in a fun and relaxed way. We’ll start with a quick warm-up to get your body moving, then work on dribbling, passing, and shooting. All the core skills you need to build confidence on the court. We’ll also touch on some simple footwork. No pressure, just learning and having a good time with the ball in your hands!
In the remaining lessons after the 10th, the focus shifts toward applying everything you’ve learned in more game-like situations. We’ll fine-tune your skills under pressure—like making quick decisions, creating your own shot, defending in live scenarios, and reading your opponent. You’ll play more competitive 1-on-1, work on conditioning, and develop a better understanding of strategy and pace. These sessions are all about turning fundamentals into instinct, building your confidence, and preparing you to play in real games or pick-up runs with anyone.
From the 4th to the 10th workout, you’ll start to feel a real shift in your game. We’ll sharpen your ball-handling with more advanced dribbling drills, improve your shooting range and consistency, and add more movement like cutting, pivoting, and finishing at different angles. You’ll also get more comfortable with 1-on-1 and small-sided games to learn spacing, timing, and decision-making. Each session will focus on adding new skills while reinforcing the basics, so by the 10th workout, you’ll look and feel more like a true player on the court.
In the second and third workouts, you’ll start building on what you learned by adding movement to your skills—like dribbling while walking, passing on the move, and finishing layups. We’ll also work on defensive slides, basic offensive moves like the jab step, and light 1-on-1 play to get you used to real game situations. Each session gets a little more challenging, but always focused on helping you improve and feel more confident.
