Golf has been a lifelong pursuit of mine, beginning in a country club environment where I started playing as soon as I could walk. I received structured professional instruction from ages 3–18 and competed extensively in junior tournament golf, including AGJA events and high-level regional competition. I was the #1 player in my high school and was on track to compete at the collegiate level before health-related circumstances shifted my path. That experience deepened my understanding of both the physical and mental demands of competitive golf. My background is rooted heavily in tournament preparation—learning how to structure practice, manage scoring expectations, and perform under pressure. After college, I transitioned into coaching and have spent years giving lessons to players of all levels, with a focus on simplifying mechanics, improving consistency, and building repeatable scoring systems. Whether you’re just starting, preparing for competition or just trying to lower your handicap, I specialize in turning technical work into on-course performance.

Your first lessonMy first lesson focuses on building a simple, repeatable foundation. We’ll cover grip, setup, and basic swing motion, but more importantly, I assess how you move and learn so I can tailor instruction to you. I keep things simple and athletic—no overloading with mechanics. By the end of the session, you’ll understand the core fundamentals and have a clear, easy-to-follow feel to build on.
Lesson 11+At this point, we shift from learning to playing. Lessons become more personalized and performance-focused based on your goals. We’ll work on scoring, decision-making, and on-course strategy—similar to how competitive players prepare. Practice becomes more structured, and improvement becomes measurable. The goal is simple: build a game that holds up on the course, not just on the range.
Lesson 4-10This is where real improvement happens. We’ll continue developing your swing while introducing short game (chipping, pitching) and basic course strategy. I also begin incorporating “performance training”—helping you understand how to practice with purpose and start translating range work into actual scoring improvement. By this stage, most players are making consistent contact and starting to feel comfortable on the course.
Lesson 2-3These sessions are about building consistency. We’ll reinforce setup and introduce key movement patterns that improve contact and ball flight. I start introducing structure to practice—how to warm up, what to focus on, and how to make real progress between lessons. You’ll begin to see more solid contact and more predictable shots.
