Derrick is great. Very knowledgeable and helps you apply the golf swing in a manner your can relate to based on your sports history. Even if you haven't played any sports and golf is your first one, he'll work hard to find the little things that just click for you. This is my second year and the improvement in my handicap is definitely trending downward. I'd highly recommend you give him a shot.

Derrick is a great golf teacher and all around good human. I was a college athlete who needed a challenge now that I was over 50. I had played golf a few times over the years, but never seriously. I took lessons with Derrick and fell in love with this crazy game of golf. I’m in my second season of consistently playing and see Derrick a few times each year for tune-ups. He always knows how to explain what I need to do to fix my swing or stance. I HIGHLY recommend Derrick if you want to learn golf or just tune-up your skills.

I have to say Derrick’s way of teaching the game is awesome. While at Sundance golf course I had the pleasure of taking multiple lessons with Derrick. His style is laid back and his lessons are fun, best of all, they work! I started with a 22 handicap and by the end of the year I was at a 12 handicap. Highly recommend if you want to lower your handicap and have fun doing it!

Derek was amazing to work with! He helped me improve in all phases of my game. After every lesson he sends a detailed recap of the lesson with helpful tips & drills to keep improving. His teaching style is relatable & adaptable to all levels. You’ll definitely improve from working with Derek!

I've loved working with Derrick. After I started taking lessons, I knocked 10 stokes off my handicap. He is very knowledgeable and always seems to have great insight to fix whatever issues I am having at the time. Highly recommend!!!
