What stood out most was how casual and stress free the lesson was, while still being packed with useful tips. Michael’s approach made learning enjoyable and easy to follow. If you’re looking to improve your golf game in a relaxed setting, his lessons are definitely worth trying.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI go over the basics in the first lesson. Grip, Alignment, Set-up, and Stance. Once these are established some light hitting with a wedge will establish a sense of center-face contact with a square face, which are the two most important parts of ball-striking. With the remaining 15 minutes of the lesson, some smooth hitting with a 7 iron and then driver will be in order. Now the beginner has received a crash course on the full swing.
Lesson 2-3Starting in the second lesson, I will introduce the student to 2 or 3 drills that will build a solid swing and a solid base to swing from. I will videotape the student's swing which will provide an early look into the good and correctable aspects of his(her) swing. For the remainder of the lesson we will hit balls together utilizing one or more of the drills taught, whichever drill(s) the student seems to connect with. The student can choose to hit whichever clubs he(she) is comfortable with (e.g. driver, 7-iron). Lesson 3 will consist of me introducing one or 2 more drills to see if they mesh with the student and help them establish a solid swinging motion and stance to swing from. We will hit balls together utilizing the new drills or the old, depending on what is working for the student. We will end by playing a game to see who can hit it closest to an agreed upon target to put some pressure on the student to perform.
