Emmett took my playing and knowledge to a completely different level. He would make personalized lesson plans and he would thoroughly break down what was going on in a certain piece of music and then find other separate pieces that shared similarities with what he was teaching. I like his method of teaching by using actual music and it makes the learning process much easier once you start to see all the similarities between different pieces of music.

Emmett was very nice and very patient. He obviously understands music, and my son felt that he could use all of the insights he learned in the class going forward. The lessons were at his level, and I could see marked improvement from week to week.
