Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThe first lesson is focused on your musical background, and your vision for a music future. As a beginner, you will leave this lesson knowing note names and the basic mechanics of piano.
Lesson 11+Specialized lesson plans, specific to their genre they want to learn. As a variety pianist, I take advantage of my ability to play and understand all genre of music from classical to popular music to blues, salsa, samba and even hip hop.
Lesson 4-10By the end of the first month, you will have a clear practice routine and start learning your choice of repertoire. I write all of my students lesson plans specific to their goals as musicians. Students who want to learn video game music are given arrangements of video game songs, aspiring Brazilian musicians will learn Brazilian music. By the end of two months you will be able to play said song all the way through.
Lesson 2-3If you are interested in learning how to read music, we will be focusing on writing and reading staff paper. You will learn the different names and purposes for clefs, notes, rhythm, and tempo. If you are interested in learning by ear, we will focus on learning simple melodies and basic music theory
