Alex was able to help me not just learn more about the rules of the game but also help me take my game to the next level by providing ne with specific tips adding on top of how I already played. Beginner training plan

Your first lessonI usually like to start people by only practicing their dinking, as it is one of the most crucial parts of playing good pickleball. I usually incorporate some games into the lesson to learn scoring as well!

Lesson 11+There is always room for improvement! We will continue to hone your skills until you feel like you can conquer the pickleball world!

Lesson 4-10After we have a grasp of the basics, we can start to work on more specific aspects of the game. We’ll work on more advanced skills such as a third-shot drop, lob, drive, etc., as well as different strategies and when it can be beneficial to use them.

Lesson 2-3After we have a solid foundation of dinking at the kitchen line, we open it up to the whole court. We learn what all of the different lines mean, what the rules are, and how to serve.

Youth players

Working with kidsI taught tennis to anyone ages 4 to 104. I love helping kids tap into their potential early on because the ceiling can be much higher. I am friendly, kind, and very positive, but also not afraid to tell them how they can improve. I love using examples they can relate to so that it doesn’t feel like they’re talking to an adult.

Working with teenagersTeenagers always come with the unique set of challenges. Luckily, I am the oldest of 5 kids, so I have plenty of experience. I always make lessons fun and fun enjoyable, and there is usually some sense of competition to encourage my pickleballers to push themselves!

What you need to bringYou will need to wear athletic clothing, preferably something light, and some athletic shoes, preferably tennis shoes. While pickleball isn’t super physically taxing, you still move around and it can get hot. Don’t forget to bring your water, and a hat and sunglasses if you would like!

What I can bringI always supply the balls for our lessons, and I have a bunch of demo paddles that you are more than welcome to try out while you decide A) how much you want to spend on a paddle, and B) which one is right for you.

If you need to cancel your lesson, no worries! You can get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of making your booking. We want to make the process as hassle-free as possible for you.

And if you simply want to reschedule your lesson, change the date and time, or adjust the number of students joining, we've got you covered there too. You can easily make these changes within 24 hours of booking, and up to 72 hours before your lesson starts.
