Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThe 1st session is a one hour assessment. We will spend time hitting a wide variety of pickleball shots. Then start to focus on strokes, basic rules and the first 4 shots that make up a typical PB point.
Lesson 11+Drill for skills & consistency. These session focus on more advanced shots, positioning and strategies
Lesson 4-10These sessions are typically focused on being a consistent hitter while learning how to keep score, playing out points and games. Drills and training games are part of every session.
Lesson 2-3Subsequent sessions are focused on what was observed during the assessment - Serves, Returns, volleys, dinksand building confidence and consistency in your shots.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonThe first session with an Intermediate player is a strike and skills assessment. If something is consistent and working - we leave it initially while we zero in on areas in need of development.
Youth players
Working with kidsWhen working with juniors it’s important to make it fun (via drills and games) while learning the game and being good sports.
