Beginner training plan
Your first lessonDuring your first lesson I will:
Assess your physical fitness during the warm-up exercise phase. This will give me the road map towards your progress.
Cover the safety aspects of the game including how to move and flow on the court.
Discuss how to properly grip the paddle including your stance and posture.
Cover fundamentals including Paddle Bumps, Dinks, Volleys, Serves, Returns.
Rules and game play including the importance of getting to the “kitchen”.
Play a couple of games!!

Lesson 11+The subsequent lessons will focuss more time on fewer items looking to improve the aspects that hinder you the most.
Your comfort and confidence levels will soar as we start to focus on the strategy of the game and how to “set up” your opponents and put them in uncomfortable positions on the court.
Lesson 4-10Lessons 4-10 we’ll be stepping up the intensity by creating a “live Scenario” setting for every drill and also learning how to master the transition zone and the non-volley zone so that you can play aggressively and with patience on offense and defense.
Lesson 2-3During the next few lessons, we will begin to introduce a drill based approach where we will focus on fundamentals of the game by repetition. Repetition of good fundamentals is key to sustainable improvement.
We will cover each of the following items in detail:
Dinks, Volleys, Serves, Returns and Top Spin, game strategy and techniques etc.
