I had a great first lesson with Chris! I had things I wanted to work on prior to the lesson that Chris addressed one by one. One of the things I really appreciate about Chris is how perceptive he is and how much he’s able to point out as areas I can improve on (this is especially important for pickleball where quick reaction times are everything at the higher level). I also learned some new drills to implement as well as variations of existing drills that I will definitely implement going forward in practice.

While they can handle more advanced techniques, they still learn best through active play and competition rather than lectures. I introduce spin, shot placement, and doubles tactics early on to keep them engaged, while also fostering teamwork, communication, and a positive, inclusive training environment.
