Hi! I’m Dina, a passionate pickleball coach dedicated to helping beginners master the basics and fall in love with the game. Coming from a tennis background, I focus on proper technique, safety and making every session high-energy and fun. I specialize in working with women and families who are new to the sport. Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe start with a warm welcome and getting comfortable with the paddle. My goal is to get you hitting the ball and smiling within the first 10 minutes! We’ll cover safety, basic 'dinks' (soft shots), and the pure joy of making contact with the ball through fun, low-pressure games.
Lesson 11+Now that you’re a player, we refine your technique! We’ll work on adding power, placing your shots with precision, and advanced tactics. More importantly, I’ll help connect you with other players in our community so your Pickleball journey continues with new friends and social events.
Lesson 4-10This is where the magic happens! We work on the 'Third Shot Drop,' volleys at the net, and basic court positioning. We’ll practice real game scenarios, focusing on communication and teamwork. By lesson 10, you’ll be able to play a full, scoring match with your friends or family.
Lesson 2-3We’ll move from dinking to 'groundstrokes' and the basics of serving. For kids, I use engaging drills that feel like play, while moms will learn how to keep the ball in play longer. We’ll also introduce the 'Kitchen' rules so you feel confident about where to stand on the court.
What you need to bringPlease wear comfortable athletic clothing and non-marking court shoes (or sneakers with good support). Don't forget your water bottle, sunscreen, and your best smile!
What I can bringI provide everything you need for a great game! I will bring high-quality paddles for both adults and kids, plenty of balls, and any training aids required. Just show up ready to have fun!
