In my introductory lesson, I teach safety rules and how to move on the Court. Within one hour, I will have you learning how to serve, hit ground strokes, and all about the non volley zone and the rules pertaining to it. I will then explain how to keep score, and how to position yourself for serving and returning of serve. Depending upon the number of players in the lesson, we can play a dbls game for a few minutes, with up to four players or cut throat with three players and singles, which just an individual lesson
My goal is now to bring you up to a level that meets your goals. Some players are satisfied with being a social player, while others want to compete and get better all the time. as your Coach, I am responsible to a you and maximizing your dreams in regards to proficiency and Pickleball In addition to all the things mentioned, I will be sending you videos to reinforce what you’ve been taught from your prior lessons from pros all around the country.
By the fourth lesson, I am expecting you to have the basic fundamentals down, and we can start expanding into strategy, how to transition yourself from the baseline to the Non NVZ and explain the fundamentals of when to attack, or when to reset. Hopefully by the last lesson, we can also learn how to use the flick and roll for greenlight options. Which is another way to say attacking-where red light means to be defensive or reset.
On the second lesson, we will see how much you retain from the first lesson and focus on the parts that you need the most help with.
