Beginner training plan
Your first lessonMy first lesson will start off with general questions about pickleball (i.e how long you’ve played). Following that is a warm up session consisting of all shots (baseline, net, transition zone). We will discuss what you feel confident in and what you don’t! This will allow us to create a plan to take you to the next level.
Lesson 2-3After finding what we would like to improve upon from the first lesson, the student will continue to drill (hit lots of shots) and continue to develop their new skills. The student and I (the coach) will have discussions regarding why we are drilling the shots and the purpose behind each shot we are practicing. Strategic pickleball discussions can take place if the student has questions or would like clarity.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonThe first lesson will consist of a proper warm up so that I can observe all shots of your game. Understanding your strengths and weaknesses allows me to create a plan to take your game to the next level. We will mix in fun games along with technical discussions regarding the shot or strategy that needs improvement.
Lesson 2-3We will continue to drill your shots and strategy. Adjustments will be made with minor form tweaks to improve consistency and power. There will be discussions throughout drills to receive feedback from student and coach.
