Training with Paul for six sessions completely boosted my game. I went from not knowing the rules to playing full matches with confidence. He breaks things down simply, keeps it fun, and makes sure you’re always improving. I’d highly recommend him to anyone getting into pickleball.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonObjective: Introduce rules, court layout, basic skills
• Warm-up (5–10 mins): Light jog, dynamic stretches, paddle taps
• Court Overview: Explain kitchen (non-volley zone), service areas, scoring basics
• Grip & Ready Position: Demonstrate continental grip and athletic stance
• Serving Drill: Practice underhand serves (aiming for consistency)
• Groundstroke Drill: Forehand & backhand groundstrokes (drop feeding)
• Mini Game (5–10 mins): Controlled rally over the kitchen
• Wrap-up: Recap rules, answer questions
Lesson 11+Objective: Refine advanced tactics and game-readiness
• Video analysis or peer feedback
• Tournament-style matches
• Advanced shot variations: Erne, ATP (around the post), fake poaches
• Custom drills: Based on individual strengths/weaknesses
• Weekly challenge goals: (e.g., dink 20 in a row, win 3 net exchanges)
