About your reading and writing coach

4-time published book author with over 28 years of writing experience. I have a bachelor in Business Administration, 16 years of tutoring experience from K-12 and college level. I'm also an entrepreneur (for the past 28 years) and was awarded the coveted 0-1 Visa for Extraordinary Individuals upon moving from Canada to Los Angeles in 2013 which confimed I'm top in my field of endeavor as an author, speaker and syndicated columnist. Writing has been my passion since I was 6 years old.

Your first lessonThe first lesson is a get to know each other time as well as determine what areas you require assistance with so I can create a customized learning plan.
Lesson 2-3After creating the lesson plan, we can go through it in lesson 2 in order to be sure we’re on the same page with everything and ready to roll. Any edits or changes can be discussed at that time. Lesson 3 is the official start of our tutoring and learning journey together.
Lesson 4-10It’s full steam ahead at this point! We’re well on our way to helping you not only succeed but excel on your learning journey!
Lesson 11+Continuing our learning journey and also recapping and checking in with sample testing to ensure you’ve got everything you need to succeed before you move on to even bigger and better.

Working with kidsChildren, especially younger ones, require the most adaptability when it comes to teaching. This is because they are rapidly growing and changing, often at varying rates. This is where not only completely individualized custom tutoring lessons come into play but where it’s necessary to continually assess and tweak as we move along to ensure optimal success.
Working with teenagersSimilar to the younger students there is often still a need to remain flexible for the individual nature of each student because we all have unique learning styles. What works for one may not work for everyone. Getting to know the student initially and catering to their personal learning style is the key to success in this group.
