What you need to bringI encourage my students to dress comfortably, bring bottled water, a notebook, and a recording device such as tablet, or phone, to record the lesson. It is important to record voice lessons so student's can practice as though they were in an actual lesson, thus improving at a faster pace.
I write out actual scales for piano student's to practice with and also what songs they need to work on for each week.
For Ukulele, I write on paper or in their book what to practice throughput the week concerning technique and songs. I also give extra curricular materials for them to work on.
