Your first lessonIntroduction to soccer, the basics of touch and pass, and most importantly, ball juggling skills.
Lesson 11+They will be able to play with teams with confidence. They will do more drills and add to their fitness routine, specially strength and conditioning, which they will continue throughout their soccer career, and beyond.
Lesson 4-10They will be able to play with confidence, and will be able to maneuver the ball smoothly.
Lesson 2-3Passing, receiving, and dribbling skills and moves. More ball juggling is a skill that they must practiced everyday. They will practice shooting in a variety of ways, and accomplish shooting and passing with accuracy.
Youth players
Working with kidsThe first thing is I introduce them to soccer, and after that I teach them the basics of touching the ball. Once they master this skill, I’ll focus my attention to passing the ball and receiving passes. Once they understand these two skills I will introduce them to cones drill which will help them to be able to dribble around with the ball, run and out maneuver the opposing player. At this point they will be able to advance to play games and even compete with other teams. I always insist that all players must practice ball juggling as much as they can, to the point that they will be comfortable with the ball in any situation. Every player must know this skill, and in some cases even freestyle.
Working with teenagersI normally assess the level of their ability before I decide what they need to improve on, then I focus my attention on improving in that area. I also take time to improve on their physical fitness and speed. Most importantly, I train them to be able to dribble and maneuver the ball to the level of professional.
