I am a USSF licensed professional soccer coach currently working full time with FC Cincinnati Academy. Prior to this, I have experience working in the top flight of women's professional soccer, mens NCAA, and ECNL. I have helped develop players who would reach power 4 college programs, professional contracts, and national team call ups.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonGoalkeepers: We start with basic ready position, hand positioning and footwork patterns. Simple catching and diving introduction from ground level. Field Players: We focus on position specific technical skills including first touch, passing combinations and movement patterns.
Lesson 2-3Goalkeepers: Build on lesson 1 with low and mid height diving, lateral footwork patterns and beginning distribution work. Field Players: Receiving technique under light pressure. Passing combinations focusing on timing and quality of touch. Introduction to turning and driving with the ball.
Lesson 4-10Goalkeepers: High balls, angles, crosses and 1v1 positioning. Distribution with both feet and hands. Footwork around the six yard box. Field Players: Position specific technical work. Finishing technique, dribbling mechanics or passing range depending on position. Repetition based drills to build muscle memory.
Lesson 11+Goalkeepers: Refinement of all techniques at higher speed and under pressure. Shot stopping consistency, footwork efficiency and distribution accuracy. Field Players: Executing all techniques at match speed. Sharpening weaknesses identified in earlier sessions. Consistency and precision across all technical areas.
