Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThe first session is focused on evaluating the player. I assess their technical ability, movement, coordination, and overall comfort on the ball.
Lesson 11+We incorporate more realistic scenarios, speed and agility work, and position-based development to help players perform confidently in real matches. The focus is on consistent improvement and long-term development.
Lesson 4-10From sessions four through ten, training becomes more structured and game-focused. Players work on improving technique under pressure, decision-making, and overall game awareness.
Lesson 2-3In the second and third sessions, we begin building fundamentals based on the player’s needs. This includes ball control, passing technique, first touch, and basic movement patterns.

Luis is a fantastic coach. We've enjoyed watching our two boys go through challenging footwork and agility drills, but Luis keeps it positive and meets the kids where they're at developmentally. Highly recommend Luis to work with club soccer kids at all ages and levels. Our boys are getting better and having fun!
