Lesson 11+Combining the skill in longer activities that require multiple decisions and movements. Player should feel confident in the fundamentals, so trying to crest the skill in game-like scenarios. Once confident we can continue to add new skills to our sessions to develops well rounded players.
Lesson 4-10Increasing the difficulty in activities as the player progresses. Including decision making, multiple movements or patterns. Continuing details to learn techniques to improve the skill.
Lesson 2-3Consistency in training activities to focus on areas of growth. Growing confidence and understanding the details on performing skills.

Your first lessonLots of technical work of different patterns and movements. Multiples types of techniques in passing and finishing to evaluate player and look for areas of growth.
Lesson 11+Once we feel confident in the growth of the area we wanted to work on we can begin adding in new skills and focus areas to the training session so we continue the process of development of a well-rounded player.
Lesson 4-10Have developed more confidence in simpler activities. Add new techniques, more pace and speed to the skill. More challenging tests to the skill to be able to perform at high speed and pressure.
Lesson 2-3Have a specific 2-3 areas of growth that we can focus our sessions on. Dive into details of fundamentals needed for skill. Start small and technical and continue to develop into game-like situations.
Youth players
Working with kidsGreat an engaging game-filled learning environment. I like to try and incorporate games where players are required to use different soccer techniques
Working with teenagersWith teens, it’s important to get the athlete engaged with many high energy, intensity, activities for short period of time. Fun games included as well but still prioritize learning and building confidence through repetition.
