About your softball coach
Softball has been a major part of my life since I was 9, including playing at the collegiate level. I'm passionate about helping young athletes grow through the game. I've worked as a private instructor (ages 5-18), head coach for 8u and 10u teams, and a graduate assistant coach. I focus on teaching fundamentals in a clear, encouraging way while building confidence, communication, and a love for the game.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI first want to assess what skills athlete already has and what they feel needs to be improved, making minimal tweaks, jut trying to get an overall understanding of what works and what doesn’t.
Lesson 11+Still going back to basics if need be but overall this is where I come up with drills that have to do with building strength and speed. As well as maintaining consistency with their performance.
Lesson 4-10Keeping up with the targeted drills but moving forward towards maintaining good habits and consistency and working towards more situational drills.
Lesson 2-3This is where the change begins to occur! Based on the first lesson I will plan out specific drills to target areas that need improvement. Breaking down to the fundamentals and correcting bad habits that have formed!
