Honestly, I appreciated how Jose manages to keep the lesson practical, making steady progress seem achievable. The highlight for me was learning new skills, though catching waves could still improve, but I’m optimistic about that. Your first lesson### Beginner Surfing Plan
1. **Introduction to Surfing
- Overview of Surfing Basics:Understand the ocean, tides, and how waves form.
- Safety Guidelines:Learn about surf etiquette, staying safe in the water, and recognizing hazards.
- Gear Familiarization:Get acquainted with surfboards, wetsuits, leashes, and how to choose the right equipment.
#### 3. **In-Water Skills**
- **Entry and Paddling:** Learn how to safely enter the water, paddle correctly, and position yourself on the board.
- **Catching Small Waves:** Start with small, manageable waves. Focus on timing your pop-up as you feel the push from the wave.
