Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFor first lessons I would evaluate the students skills and see where we can go from what we have as well as getting an understanding of what the student's goals are when it comes to playing.
Lesson 11+For the remainder of the lessons we will keep working on all of the above to make sure the student will begin to gain power and momentum as well as starting to learn strategies.
Lesson 4-10Once they are more comfortable with footwork and technique we will start learning the different types of shots that you will need to play comfortably. As well as introducing serves.
Lesson 2-3After the evaluation I would like the students to start with the basics of getting comfortable with footwork and introducing them to basic techniques.
Youth players
Working with kidsI enjoy working with children since most people start tennis young and I want to be able to give children an enjoyable beginning to tennis without stress or pressure.
What you need to bringFor the student I would simply ask for an age appropriate racquet and proper footwear to limit the chance of injury.
What I can bringI will provide the tennis balls, resistance bands for warm up and cones.
