Hi, I’m Egor — a tennis coach with over 10 years of experience as both a competitive player and instructor. I’ve trained under ATP-level coaches and worked with players of all levels, from beginners to nationally ranked juniors. My coaching philosophy is built on strong fundamentals, smart footwork, and mental focus. I break down complex techniques into simple steps and adapt each session to the individual. I specialize in fast progress through personalized attention and high-energy sessions. Currently coaching at The Tennis and Pickleball Club in Newport Beach, I also work privately with adults and juniors in Orange Country, Irvine and Los Angeles. Your first lessonMy first goal is to spark a true love for tennis. We cover grip, ready‑stance and basic swing mechanics, then finish with a few easy feeds so the student feels the thrill of hitting a clean ball.
Lesson 2-3We build rally skills: short‑court forehand and backhand, simple footwork patterns and a soft introduction to the serve. By the end of lesson 3 most beginners can keep a 5‑ball rally with me.
Lesson 4-10Focus shifts to balance and movement. We drill split‑step timing, lateral shuffles and recovery steps, while adding topspin, volleys and serve fundamentals. Consistency and confidence rise quickly.
Lesson 11+Now we add strategy: court positioning, shot selection, basic patterns (cross‑court vs. down‑the‑line) and point construction. Sessions mix live ball, mini‑matches and mental‑game tips to turn skills into match‑ready play.

If you need to cancel your lesson, no worries! You can get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of making your booking. We want to make the process as hassle-free as possible for you.

And if you simply want to reschedule your lesson, change the date and time, or adjust the number of students joining, we've got you covered there too. You can easily make these changes within 24 hours of booking, and up to 72 hours before your lesson starts.
