I begin with a short assessment to understand the player’s movement, timing, and comfort level. I then teach fundamental technique using easy progressions and repetition, while keeping the session positive, structured, and motivating.
In later lessons, beginners progress from basic strokes to controlled match play. Training emphasizes serve and return quality, footwork efficiency, shot selection, and developing the confidence to compete and rally consistently.
During lessons four through ten, beginners will become more comfortable rallying, develop more reliable technique, and begin learning how to serve, return, and keep score. Players will notice better coordination, timing, and confidence on court.
Beginners can expect structured progression, with continued work on grip, stance, and swing technique. By the third lesson, most players will begin controlled rallies, improved timing, and a clearer understanding of movement and shot direction.
I begin by discussing the player’s goals, match history, and injury background. I then evaluate technique and patterns through high-intensity drills and point situations to create a personalized improvement plan
In the remaining lessons, advanced players can expect fine-tuning of technique, greater tactical depth, and improved consistency under pressure. Sessions focus on match execution, point patterns, physical conditioning, and mental toughness to maximize competitive performance
