Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI first want to talk to the client to get a better understanding of what THEY are looking to realistically achieve. After that is established, I will go from there usually. Each client’s reasoning or personal goals are different than the next person.
Lesson 2-3After we have our first lesson, you can find that by the next few sessions you have a bit more confidence. In yourself and overall. You won’t feel so out of your element. Expect to surprise yourself when you do remember things told to you in means of helping you past whatever obstacle you might’ve been struggling with.
You will have a better understanding of gripping and placement on the handle of the racquet better. You will also have more of a clear picture on how you need to hold the racquet head when hitting the ball and how to not have it fly over the net haha - you will start to notice that you are gaining a momentum. Slow or not, that depends on the person and I do not ever compare. It is a steady climb.
What you need to bringMake sure to wear sneakers that are smooth on the bottoms! Bring your racquet if you have your own. Bring your water is a must AND sunscreen. I will supply the rest :)
What I can bringI can bring different types of racquets for you to select from that feels best to you; I bring a full basket of fresh balls with pickup equipment; cones and targets for target training; I will also have 3 separate types of tennis balls depending on skill level and/or age.
