Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFirst lesson for beginners will be a introduction to the racquet, ball, and net.
We will focus on swing path, body postion, and grip.
Lesson 11+Reinforcing consistency with muscle memory while using the feet as a seperate entity to move around the court. You can expect by this time serve and volleys ( different strokes) will be introduced. We will begin to learn the rules of tennis.
If we have focused on specific areas on coordination that needed to be addressed its about time the student will be ready to hit the ball and develope muscle memory focusing on the swing and feet.
Lesson 4-10With a positive coordination response you can expect to introduce the feet! We will incorporate moving the body while keeping the fundementals of the swing we learned in lessons 1-3. Its very possible this can be delayed due to the coordination and the response to the new motions and behavoir. If thats the case we will focus heavy on hand and eye coordination developing stronger connections and response in those regions.
Lesson 2-3Repetition and developing muscle memory is going to be important to obtain a swing thats consistent for one to play the game. Minor adjustments will be made to fine tune the swing.
