Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFirst I ask the students what their goals are and then assess their level and noted down their strengths, weaknesses and areas of improvement.
If needed we'll learn the basics of tennis, including understanding the rules, scoring, and essential equipment. We'll go over the fundamentals like different grip choices, forehand and backhand stance, and basic strokes to get you started.
I will also do a test to determine your dominant eye, so that we can work on your stance differently for forehand vs your backhand.
Lesson 11+Advanced training on techniques like topspin, slice, and approach shots, preparing you for more competitive play.
Lesson 4-10Focus will be on improving your shot and volley accuracy and control from baseline and also from inside the court.
We will also work on strategies and court positioning with drills for singles and doubles.
Lesson 2-3Next we'll work on your forehand and backhand strokes, and serves. Introduce you to footwork and basic court positioning to enhance your game play.u
Youth players
Working with kidsWorking with kids needs patience and commitment to outcome.
I will focus on improving their technique with step by step guidance on ball contact, swing motion and serve technique.
