How it works
Lesson 4-10
A plan should be in effect at this point, considering the student’s strengths, weaknesses, and goals. Work towards refining current skills and developing new ones. Discuss potential performance opportunities that the student could work towards (recital, recording, etc).
Lesson 2-3Continue to develop goals and teaching plan. Learn the students strengths and weaknesses through assigned playing between lessons. Work on larger concepts as we continue to get to know each other.

Youth players
Working with kidsWe will work on finding ways that the trumpet is fun and interesting to the student. Working on basics and fundamentals in a way that sparks interest, and encourages them to continue seeking growth between lessons.

Working with teenagersBuilding goals and finding ways that will grow the students interests and passions with the trumpet is how I approach teaching teenage students. We will work on fundamentals and incorporate that practice into music that the individual finds enjoyment in playing.
