Bio: With 30 years of experience on the court, Have a court in mind? I’m flexible, I can come to your tennis location. I've honed my skills as an experienced player and am passionate about fostering that same love for the game in others. I bring a deep understanding of tennis technique and strategy to every lesson, creating a fun yet focused learning environment for beginner and low intermediate players. My goal is to help you not only improve your game but also develop a lifelong passion for this incredible sport. I am especially fond of working with the youth, as I have over 20+ years teaching kids off court. “First Lesson is absolutely Free!”

Bio: I’ve been passionate about tennis for over 20 years, thanks to my father who introduced me to the game at a young age. I earned my coaching certification from The Professional Tennis Registry in 2021 and have since coached for Nike Tennis Camps, Smoke Rise Country Club, and offered private lessons. As a former Division II college player, I also volunteered at an afterschool program, where I had the chance to teach kids tennis alongside a local coach. This experience, along with four years of coaching at Reading & Requests, taught me the value of listening to students and using positive reinforcement to foster rapid improvement. In my lessons, I focus on mastering the six basic strokes, keeping score, proper hand placement, and understanding the rules of the game. My classes are designed to be dynamic, fun, and structured for maximum skill development.

Bio: Maurice is a dedicated and enthusiastic tennis coach in Decatur, bringing over 15 years of playing experience and more than three years of teaching expertise. With a strong foundation in individual, doubles, and group instruction, Maurice is committed to developing well-rounded tennis players of all ages and skill levels. His coaching background includes serving as a summer instructor at Morehouse College, where he organized practices, led matches, and guided students to improve their skills. As a former Morehouse College player and ALTA Champion, Maurice embodies leadership, self-discipline, and sportsmanship, inspiring younger athletes to reach their potential. He offers engaging private, semi-private, group lessons, and hitting sessions, tailored to help students master everything from technique to singles and doubles strategy. Maurice is available for lessons in the Decatur area and will travel up to 15 miles.
