Bio: I’ve stood on countless sidelines, under Friday night lights, and in the quiet intensity of early morning practices. I have seen many types of athletes, from raw, untapped potential in the smallest 1A schools to the polished, formidable powerhouses destined for the pros. I have coached against some of the top D1 football players, witnessing firsthand the sheer athletic marvels they become. And through all of it, from 1A to 5A football, I have absorbed the intricate dance of X's and O's, the strategic chess match played out on the field.
It's easy to believe that having a game plan is half the battle. We draw up plays, analyze opponents, meticulously strategize every down. But let me tell you, that's just the map. The real journey, the true determinant of victory or defeat, lies not in the plan itself, but in the training and work we are willing to put in, and ultimately, how we execute that plan. As the great Joe Paterno once said, "The will to win is important, but the will to prepare is vital."
I've been fortunate enough to build a foundation that allows me to deliver that vital preparation. My path wasn't singular; it was a deliberate weaving of different disciplines, all culminating in a comprehensive approach to human performance and well-being. Five years teaching in public education taught me patience, communication, and the diverse needs of young minds. As a school nutrition director, I understand the critical link between fuel and function. My academic journey – an Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts, a Bachelor of Science in Culinary Arts & Food Service Management, and a Master's of Science in Nutritional Science – isn't just a collection of diplomas; it's a deep dive into the very science of what powers us.
This unique blend of knowledge allows me to see the whole picture. From skill training that refines technique, to Vo2 Max conditioning that pushes physical limits, to meticulous weightlifting programs that build strength, and precise nutritional plans and meal prep that optimize recovery and performance – I cover everything in between. But beyond the macros and the reps, beyond the drills and the playbooks, there's something more profound. I care about you not just as an athlete, but as a person. Because an athlete who is healthy, mentally sharp, and supported off the field is an athlete who will dominate on it. As Pelé wisely stated, "Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do." My love is for your success, in every facet.
I’ve gathered all my degrees, my knowledge, my connections, and distilled them into practical wisdom to deliver to my students and players every single day. The challenge I present isn't for the faint of heart. It demands commitment, discipline, and a willingness to push past perceived limits.
I am up for the challenge; are you! Hate Me Now, Thank Me Later! The work will be hard, but the rewards will be undeniable.
