Bio: With three decades dedicated to the art of basketball, I cultivate players' potential through focused training and strategic skill development. My commitment extends to fostering both on-court excellence and a lasting love for the game. Join me in mastering basketball fundamentals! Playing professionally overseas, and making the All-Star team as well as being 3X coach of the year, while having coached DI, D2, NAIA and Junior College expect a high-level of aptitude and cultural competence.

Bio: Coach Haku Durant was born and raised in Kailua, Hawai’i and graduated from Kamehameha Schools Kapalama (Class 2014). He has years of experience in both coaching basketball (St. Francis High School 2015-2019 Junior Varsity boys’ basketball head coach; St. Francis High School Varsity boys’ basketball assistant coach 2015-2019 with back-to-back state championships 2017, 2018; Kamehameha Schools Kapalama Junior Varsity boys’ basketball head coach 2019 - current; Kamehemeha Schools Kapalama Varsity boys’ basketball assistant coach 2019-current) and in professional development in basketball (as an instructor with Point Guard College, a national academy of basketball coaches who work towards transforming players into leaders and where top NBA and college coaches send their own keiki). More than basketball, Coach Haku’s passion lies in developing leadership in Hawaii’s youth both on the court and in life.
