Bio: My name is Jorge Mercado, I'm 23, and I’m originally from the Bronx. Basketball has been a significant part of my life, I’ve had the privilege of playing at the varsity high school level, junior college level and as a walk-on at Seton Hall University, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management this past May. For over a decade, I've been playing the game that I love. Basketball has taught me many lessons and I'm very grateful for them. Currently, I’m coaching part-time at my local YMCA and mentoring young athletes in my community, a role that I find incredibly fulfilling. I strongly believe in the philosophy, “each one, teach one,” which fuels my passion for giving back and helping the next generation grow both on and off the court. I'm passionate about teaching the fundamentals while fostering a love for the game in a fun, yet focused environment. Let's work together to take your game to the next level!
