I’m a coach, basketball dad, and former varsity head coach who knows exactly what programs expect. With 20+ years in the game—and two sons I personally train (an incoming senior and an 8th grader)—I’ve lived every angle of the journey. Both are known in the basketball community for their game and growth. I train players to think sharper, move smarter, and compete with real confidence. Let’s build skill, IQ, and presence—because the game notices who’s ready.
"“Coach Jason has helped me focus on the things that matter as I get ready for high school ball — effort, decision-making, and body language. He’s coached at the varsity level, so he knows exactly what high school coaches are looking for. I just completed my incoming HS camp last week and my new coaches complimented me on my approach to basketball. My confidence is high right now!”
For three decades, I've had the privilege of sharing my love of basketball with players of all ages. My passion lies in fostering individual growth while building team spirit, always striving for excellence on and off the court.
"Coach Santa Cruz helped me with building confidence by putting me through challenges that I had never faced. He is very knowledgeable!
Having honed my craft over three decades, I'm passionate about fostering a love for basketball in every student. My coaching philosophy centers around building a strong foundation of fundamental skills while nurturing each player's individual talents and building lasting relationships with those I coach. I have done most of my coaching at the high school level, for both boys and girls. On the individual training level, I have been working for 13 years with a huge range of players from 3rd grade students all the way up to NBA All-Stars.

I’ve been training for about 2 years now. I don’t train the same for every kid. I look for what the kids actually need help with including jump training, ball handling, shooting and whatever else they need to improved their game. I played college and also in the ABA currently.
"Help me with the fundamentals
