Funkytown Music Academy

Bio: I have a Bachelor's degree in Music and have put this experience to use playing in a church band and a local country band. I've taught piano (and voice) for several years now, and am happy to be working with Funkytown Music Academy.

Bio: My lifelong love of music blossomed on the piano, an instrument whose versatility and expressive potential captivated me from a young age. As a concert pianist, I experienced the joy of performing firsthand and now, with 25 years of teaching behind me, I'm passionate about nurturing a love for music in others. I work with students of all ages and levels, helping them to not only master the technical skills of piano playing but also to discover the profound joy and fulfillment that music making brings.

Bio: 26 years of teaching experience, with a background in audio/music and video production. I play keyboard and piano with local bands and churches, and enjoy using this experience to help students learn to use lead sheets, chord voicings, and improvisation as well as traditional music reading, ear training, and theory. I'm teaching piano through Funkytown Music Academy.
