The lesson with Michael was quite focused on working on the smash, which was helpful. Although I need to fine-tune the mechanics of overhead slams, the emphasis on footwork and proper body position really helped me understand what to work on. I feel like there's room for more technical work, but I’m optimistic about what I can improve with time. We also worked on forehand dinking. Michael really helped me with my footwork, which immediately made me stop popping up dinks. If you’re looking to get a solid grasp of smashing and dinking, Michael is definitely the person to work with.

Honestly, I was pretty impressed with how Michael broke down some of the key pickleball techniques during the lesson. The drills we did this lesson really covered a lot, like working on my third shot drops and drives, resets, dinks and smashes, and proper footwork, which was pretty helpful. Though I need to fine-tune my game and figure out when to be aggressive with the opportunities I am creating, I left with some good insights and a better overall feel.
