I had the pleasure of learning from an exceptional pickleball coach who taught me the fundamentals of dinking to learning the third drop shot. Each session was insightful and engaging. The coach's approach to 'the wall' drill, while very tiring, improved my reflexes. He emphasized the proper way to drive by hitting the ball flat and lifting it up for a top spin. I just finished a series of 10 lessons with John. My overall game has improved a lot. John corrected many aspects of my game and focused on strategy and shot selection. He also videoed me playing so I could review what I had learned. He also played with me against other players and corrected my game “live” while playing. He’s a great coach for all levels. If you are starting Pickleball consider lessons before you start to ensure you are learning proper techniques and strategies. John is a gem!

I guess that about sums it up, the lesson was pretty good and I learned a lot. Though I still need to practice more, I feel like I made some real progress. Michael's approach definitely helped me understand some key aspects of pickleball better. Still, I think with more practice I can improve even further.
