From jazz to classical to rock to blues, I've performed in various musical genres, honing my skills as a versatile musician. With advanced proficiency in saxophone, vocals, and drumset, as well as intermediate expertise in flute, clarinet, guitar, and bass as well as 2 years of experience teaching beginner brass and woodwind instruments of all kinds, I offer comprehensive instruction tailored to each student's needs. Teaching Experience: 5 years The students of Mingyang Ma were admitted to the undergraduate or graduate programs of the Manhattan School of Music, the New England Conservatory of Music, the Cleveland Institute of Music, the Longy School of Music of Bard College, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, as well as the Royal Northern College of Music in the UK and the University of York respectively, and were awarded high or full scholarships.
