That lesson with Parker was quite helpful, especially since he took time to clarify some surf techniques I hadn’t fully grasped before. Though I still need to work on catching waves more consistently, I feel like I'm slowly improving thanks to his calm approach. Wow, Parker's a really cool guy and super down to earth as a teacher, which made the lesson feel pretty relaxed. His approach definitely stood out to me. Still, I think working on getting the pop-up down and right when I get on the wave would really make a difference. Parker is the GOAT. I took 7+ lessons with him and each one of them were worth it. His way of instruction by the time I took my last lesson made everything click together.
