Scripps Beach at Scripps Pier in La Jolla offers a designated surfing area north of the pier, quieter than La Jolla Shores with consistent waves and separation from swimming zones.
- Parking: Free street parking available on El Paseo Grande; avoid campus lots. More parking at La Jolla Shores with a short walk to the pier.

- Entrance: Access via stairway on north side of last house at sharp bend in El Paseo Grande or walk through campus to north side of pier.
