For over 35 years, I've dedicated myself to teaching tennis professionally, earning certification as a USPTR Professional 1. My experience spans across all age groups, where I've fostered a passion for tennis and skill development in countless students.

Bio: Beginning my tennis journey at the age of 17, I quickly became enamored with the sport despite never having held a racquet prior. Previously with a UTR of 13.3 and a PTR certification, my coaching emphasis is on the mental aspects of the game. My innate curiosity has always driven me to understand the thought processes players undergo, especially when facing challenges on the court. In my coaching journey, I prioritize fostering a resilient mindset, enabling players to navigate and overcome pressure situations effectively.
Bio: Born and raised in South Philadelphia, Coach Bryan Hughes is a product of Philadelphiaβs parks and recreational programs. His 30+ years of teaching includes 6 NJCAA National Tittles coaching with Tyler Junior College, including 6 individual Rolex National Champions. He has directed community and country club programs in Florida and Texas and started Jedi Tennis LLC, here in Philadelphia, in 2008, as well as The South Philadelphia Tennis Association in 2010. Certified Premier Provider for the USTA as well as Middle States Committee Member, The SPTA was The USTA Middle States Section "Community Tennis Association of the Year." TJC Tennis Tech Graduate and Instructor, Also Coached USTA National Champions in Juniors, Adult Singles, Doubles and Team, Texas State High School Singles, Doubles, and Team Champions. Little Mo National Champion and USTA Adult and Junior League Coordinator and USTA and ITF Certified Umpire. NJTL Singles and Doubles, and Team Champions. Stanford University Summer Coach.
