Hello, my name is Bill and I am a Danville tennis coach with nearly five decades of competitive playing experience and more than 20 years of coaching experience across juniors, high school athletes, USTA competitors, adults, and recreational players. Unlike many coaches who focus only on feeding balls, I emphasize complete player development: - Modern stroke mechanics - Match strategy and point construction - Serve consistency and placement - Footwork and movement efficiency
"“Coach Bill brings a rare combination of technical knowledge, positivity, and competitive experience. My son’s serve, movement, and match confidence improved tremendously after training with him. He genuinely cares about player development and creates a motivating environment every lesson.”

I actually didn't like tennis much when I first started at 8 years old - I'd swing, look around for the ball and find it stuck in the throat of my racquet. Having the right coach and mentor a few years later changed how I saw the game, and eventually how I saw myself. Though injuries and finances ultimately cut my junior career short, I continued to work on my skills and fitness, and found coaching as a way to share my passion with others who feel the same way. See you on the court!
"Alex was a very intentional and detail oriented coach. Many coaches just go through the motions, take you through a couple drills, and call it a day. Alex would ask questions whenever he noticed me doing something wrong and run drills to specifically isolate that shot/skill. I’d definitely recommend Alex to anyone looking to take their game to the next level.
