With over 30 years in volleyball, I’ve competed and trained at the highest levels—from Sacramento State OH/Libero to Santa Monica College, where I was ranked the #1 libero nationally and set program records. Post-college, I played alongside Olympians and AVP champions in elite invite-only training environments and multiple NCVA men’s championship teams. I was developed under Olympic coach Marv Dunphy and mentored by nationally recognized coaches and players, which shaped my technical and reads-first approach. As a coach, I specialize in position-specific training—liberos, setters, and hitters—focusing on vision, footwork, and on-time sequencing that translates directly to match play. My goal is to expedite player development so athletes can compete with confidence and consistency at the high school, club, and collegiate levels. I create a supportive yet competitive environment that challenges athletes to maximize their growth every session.
Ready to start your first piano lesson? Or perhaps, you are an advanced student looking to master more difficult repertoire! I’m here to help you, either way. I have been teaching in the Sacramento area for over 15 years and have worked with students of all ages. Having worked with middle school, high school, and university students alike, I can tell you, one thing every student needs is an instructor who really cares about seeing them improve and shine. I am classically trained, having obtained music degrees from both UC Davis and California State University, however, I teach arranging, improvising and composing as well. My main focus is leading my students to love classical music through beautiful repertoire we’ll be working on, as well as explore different styles if they would like - such as, pop, jazz, etc. I also teach music theory. Book me if you want to be serious about your musical journey, and have fun along the way!
