I will help you unlock your musical intution/creativity and give you creative ways to practice and learn songs , solos etc . I will also teach you ways to track your progress. I believe playing and learning music should be fun, and I make it easier on you to understand certain concepts from a technical, theoretical and practical point of view. I accept beginner to advanced. I can tailor lessons to your needs , the style you want to play, and I can create assignments to help you reach your goals from a professional working musician's perspective. My teaching experiences have taken me through schools , clinics at music stores and workshops. I also coach bands , teach beginner to intermediate bass , and music production one on one or group. A little about my work as a musician : Over the years, I toured, recorded and played with numerous bands and artists such as, Carly Simon, Ben Taylor, Mike Keneally, Bryan Beller, Armande Sabel-Leco, Paul Barrere, Kenny Gradney and Bill Payne, Pato Banton, Brendon Small's Galaktikon, Bird York, Janet Robin, Gwen Stefani, Eve, The Roots and more ! I also have theatrical show experience with numerous plays and with Cirque Du Soliel's 'Totem' , ' Corteo' and 'Zarkana'. All these experiences have contributed to the variety of styles in my arsenal that I play and teach. I have been playing golf since I was 19. I fell in love with the game when a friend brought me to a driving range and started hitting balls -- it was love at first sight. I started borrowing clubs from my friend and hitting the range whenever I could. After developing my skills, it was not long before I started playing tournaments. Like everyone does, I started with the high handicap groups and over time and with lots of practice, I earned my way into the low handicap group. For me, golf is 90% mental and 10% skills. My practice places heavy emphasis specifically on short-game because I feel this is where a golfer can minimize a lot of strokes, more than driving. Drive for show, putt for dough, as they say! In addition to giving professional lessons, I have three kids, all of whom I taught how to play golf. My oldest was a high school golfer, joined the SCPGA Junior Tour, and still playing. Looking forward to sharing my love of golf with you!
